Back to the Blog (I hope!)

OK, so life has been pretty busy for me. I haven’t blogged here in forever, but I have been doing all sorts of crafty things! My latest passion being crochet. 🙂
A good friend of mine recently started a stitch group, creating hats, scarves, gloves, and blankets for US soldiers and veterans. I learned to crochet at the age of 9, but was never particularly prolific. Once I got into this group, however… that all changed! In the past couple of months, I’ve been churning out scarves, hats, and blankets like crazy. I’ve even branched out, and am trying other crochet projects… at the moment, mainly Amigurumi critters! I love them, they’re so cute and fun!

I made this one, and hauled it over to my mother’s to show it off. It was immediately claimed, lol!
I like this new technique… Colourise on micro beads! Very easy to blend, and nice texture. : )

P.S. I am SO in love with Adirondack alcohol inks right now! Just in case you couldn’t tell.

Basic Card Tutorial

The Card

A couple weeks back, my scrapper friend and I were discussing my medium. She asked me if I could teach a class…
I’m not really a ‘class’ type of person. So I offered to do a tutorial instead! : )
The tutorial is soon to be reformatted and published to my blog, stay tuned! : )
